Well to top it all off, the flowers were in fact delivered on 05/31/2017,…a day late, despite verbal confirmation that they were cancelled. I then once again called TROYS FLORIST (Remember that name!!), and finally spoke with a manager and she denied that the order had ever been cancelled. She did offer to cancel the order but would have to retrieve the flowers from the recipient… At that stage I was somewhat speechless at the pure incompetence and out right stupidity for this organization.
I am disgusted with the fact that an order which I was verbally confirmed by the TROYS FLORIST sales dept. and customer service dept. would be delivered on 05/30/2017 was NOT. I even went to the extent of confirming, when I received the confirmation below, that the order would be delivered on 05/30/2017 NOT 05/31/2017. I was told that this was a mistake in your computer and the sales person would personally ensure that it was changed to the same day order as originally requested.
To whomever cares (Obviously No one at Troys Florist or Freeman’s Florist),
Not more than 20mins. Later I receive a call from your TROYS FLORIST stating that the order, which I had already received a confirmation for, required an additional $25.00 delivery because the order amount was not a high enough dollar amount. I rejected the fact that TROYS FLORIST actually wanted to charge me $40.00 delivery for a $77.00 flower order (FIRMLY). At that point it was stated that the additional charge would be waived. This is known as bait & switch, which is illegal in the United States!
Jeff (Freeman) is an extremely talented florist. We wouldn't think of patronizing anyone else. Local boy and store is beautiful.

Every year I get my flowers for the cemetery for my parents and my baby son. They have always made me beautiful arrangements for the different kinds I needed. I have always been very pleased with their service.
Speaking to the flower recipient at approximately 4:15pm I asked whether flowers had be delivered. No flowers arrived. I then once again called TROYS FLORIST to find out why they hadn’t been delivered. They apologized and stated that they were scheduled for delivery on 05/31/2017…..GRRRRR! I then proceeded to ask to speak with a manager…..once again after 3mins. call ended. I called back and requested that the order be cancelled as delivering birthday flowers the day after a birthday was senseless. At this stage it was approximately 5:05pm and there was no one at the location to receive the flowers. I was told, verbally, that the order was cancelled. Then apparently at 5:11pm I received a voicemail stating the obvious that the order was slated for delivery on 05/31/2017 NOT 05/30/2017 as ordered…DUHH!!
To all that want to order flowers for their loved ones, beware of TROY FLORIST and FREEMAN’S FLORIST. And to all my Facebook friends, please repost this for both a laugh and a cry at the sad state of customer service now days…..
Yes, I was annoyed at this stage, and once again called TROYS FLORIST to state my dis-satisfaction and once again requested confirmation that the flowers would be delivered on 05/30/2017, once again verbal confirmation that they would be. I then asked to speak with a manager. Following approximately 3mins. on hold the call ended. I left it at that.
This is in reply to the total incompetence of these two organizations and the total lack of customer service.
OK, so I arrived home anxious to see the 16 Premium Red Roses I had ordered only to find that the local supplier, FREEMAN’S FLORIST of Randleman, had only supplied 12 Roses. It just goes to show that bad service and incompetence just flows down the line…
